The Cradle is the 1st ship the player unlocks, it'll be their first foray into the universe that is CIFI.
The Cradle is unlocked instantly upon starting the game, and can be ranked up by manually purchasing generators, earning them rank points that can be spent to upgrade the ship's installs.
