Shard Milestones are bonuses to several things in the game that can bought and leveled using Shards.
Each milestone is associated with a rarity and takes a certain amount of levels from previous milestones to be unlocked.
Milestones give bonuses to several things simultaneously when certain level thresholds are passed. Each threshold passed adds 1 more bonus given from that milestone.
Depending on rarity, the amount of bonuses and their unlock level thresholds are as follows:
- Common - total of 3 bonuses at levels 1, 25, and 50
- Rare - total of 4 bonuses at levels 1, 25, 50, and 75
- Epic - total of 5 bonuses at levels 1, 10, 25, 50, and 75
- Legendary - total of 6 bonuses at levels 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 75
- Low Pristine - total of 3 bonuses at levels 1, 30, and 60
- Mid Pristine - total of 5 bonuses at levels 1, 30, 60, 90, and 120
Besides thresholds, incremental level increases the effect of each bonus (multiplicatively).

Max levels[]
All milestones have a maximum level of 100, until workers badge in the Academy is unlocked. Then, it'll double to 200.
Mining Tech Analysis 6 (Should be 7) Level 1 Research can double the maximum level of milestones to 400.
An Ultima Loop Mod: Rule of Hard Work can increase Max level of all Shard Milestone by 2% (Additive) each level (Maximum of 50 Level), When maxed, will increase the maximum of all Shard Milestone to 800.
Shard Milestones experience a cost bump every 100 levels (Large cost bump at level 100 and 400 and small cost bump at level 200 and 300, Larger Bumps every 100 afterwards)
