Research Points are the fourth currency in the game which is unlocked by purchasing The Koios ship.
Research Points are generated by your Bio-Scientists, these complete a bar of study/studies after a certain amount of ticks. These Research Points can then be spend on a multiple different Researches in the Research Catalogue. There are multiple different catagories to choose from which are all multiplicative with themselves and each other if they share the same category:
- Cells
- Mod Points
- Shards
- Research Points
- Level Points*
- Diamonds
- Tick Speed
- Generator Output
- Cells gained / Loop Filled**
- Bio-Scientists
- Token Bank Capacity
- Token Bank Interest***
*(LP) Level Points researches are additive.
**Cells are increased by x% for every loop filled.
***Token Bank Interest is the only Research where the value does not multiply, but simply replaces the lower value.
